Vibrant blossoms, an intense fragrance and often very large leaves are a good sign of recognition for the Brugmansia aurea.
The home sites are Ecuador and Veneuzela.
The ideal location is the penumbra. It can be harmless heavily pruned in the winter and makes no great claims. The Brugmansia aurea is often damaged by plant bugs and in some gardens they are soft-bodied mites susceptible.
Most Brugmansia aurea hybrids have the characteristics of B.aurea.
